We are a family-owned firm dedicated to our friends and neighbors in eastern Iowa. We take pride in giving each of our customers a unique design that reflects each family’s personality and idiosyncrasies. There is no design-by-numbers to be found at Roberts Interiors; rather, we strive to develop a sophisticated style that you and your family will enjoy for years to come.

Firm History

Roberts Interiors was founded in 1979 as Larry Roberts Interiors, on the idea that timeless sophistication in customized design was a vacancy to be filled in the Cedar Rapids area.

After working in a small studio on Mt. Vernon Road for 8 years, Larry built the firm’s current location in 1987. With a commitment to custom design for all clients, Roberts Interiors has established a reputation for luxurious, but approachable design.

Recent projects include a high-rise condo in downtown Chicago, a retreat in Aspen, Colorado, and Howard Hall’s weekend cottage overlooking the Cedar River. In addition, Roberts Interiors has been featured in Better Homes and Gardens, the Cedar Rapids Gazette, City Revealed Magazine, More Magazine, and most recently in Traditional Home Magazine.
